ODSI provides new security models with the properties and benefits of both software and hardware foci. These models offer only minimal properties of certified and tested isolation (CC), with the aim of being used in mass production (low-cost and CPU limitations) in all foci that require context isolation: M2M, the IoT, network infrastructure sharing, etc. The Management Systems of these isolated context offered the opportunity to qualify and authenticate security levels of remote devices using standardised protocols. ODSI solutions guarantee and certify the common subset of software and hardware with the aim of demonstrating the isolation property.
THE ROLE OF THE INNOVALIA ASSOCIATION
The main activity areas within the project by Innovalia include mobile and wireless communications, security and quality assurance, extensive knowledge development in IP protocols and service architectures.
Innovalia participates, among others, on defining the isolation manager model, communication models between components, the study of state-of-the-art and case studies, and dissemination and standardisation tasks.
