The objective of the ProDiGi project is to address the start-up of a marketplace for the supply of trusted services and applications based on Internet of the Future technologies, supported by an ecosystem of open innovation, for the digitalisation of industrial processes in the automobile auxiliary industry. Thus, companies that develop ICT solutions and tools will have a mechanism for developing tools in the cloud that are certified and customised for the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing industry (mainly SMEs) will have mechanisms for tendering their digitalisation needs and discovering Internet of the Future technology capabilities for improving the competitiveness of their processes. Member companies will have a platform for providing services with a service quality guarantee and with interoperability support at data level.
THE ROLE OF THE INNOVALIA ASSOCIATION
Within the ProDiGi, and based on its experience, Innovalia provides design and development support for digitising the manufacturing processes by applying its experience in developing ITC solutions for the manufacturing industry. Innovalia, due to its experience and strategic positioning, provides the link required with the FI-LAB platform to develop the interconnection with ProDiGi and FIWARE and participates in the evaluation of efficacy and functionality of the digitalised processes.
