The objective of OSMOSE is to develop a reference architecture, middleware and prototype applications for the Sensing-Liquid Enterprise, interconnecting the real, digital and virtual worlds in the same way that a semipermeable membrane allows liquid particulates to flow through it. Therefore, the applications, business process developers and other stakeholders need to be able to handle unified representations of objects, people and processes in the three worlds, in order to significantly accelerate the implementation of Sensing-Liquid Enterprise applications through business processes guided by events.
THE ROLE OF THE INNOVALIA ASSOCIATION
Innovalia leads the task of business verification and validation for case studies, is also responsible for their application in the EPC automation pilots and defining lessons and experiences learned.
