The openETCS project is a European level strategic proposal for the development of open source tools that accelerate and facilitate the implementation of a continental railway control system. It is a project in which companies from seven different countries participate (Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Sweden), led by the company Deutsche Bahn, and with the participation of more than 30 companies.
THE ROLE OF THE INNOVALIA ASSOCIATION
The Innovalia Association defines the strategy for obtaining formal requirements from specifications, validates specifications and contributes to designing the testing plan, as well as the design and review of testing case studies. It also evaluates the results of the tests.
