BEInCPPS is an Innovation Action under the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme, whose objective is to integrate and test a service platform on three levels, Machine-Factory-Cloud, based on Internet of the Future technologies for cyber/physical production systems (CPPS). The testing will firstly be carried out in five of the European regions that have adopted Intelligent Specialisation Strategies: Lombardy in Italy, the Basque Country in Spain, Baden Wuertemberg in Germany, Norte in Portugal, Rhone Alpes in France) and will be extended to all European regions through “open calls” in order to include competency centres and SMEs in the manufacturing sector
THE ROLE OF THE INNOVALIA ASSOCIATION
The Innovalia Association coordinates the creation of “Digital Innovation Hub” activities in the Basque Country for the implementation and testing of cyber/physical production systems in the automotive sector. Innovalia is responsible for the dissemination strategy, relations with the I4MS initiative and managing open calls.
