The project fosters access control in the organisations by combining access control mechanisms, role management and skills management. The project considers access control services from a perspective of usability and security, providing comparative information from different mechanisms that help to improve monitoring, fluidity and work efficiency and guarantee use authorisation in real time to carry out certain tasks in the organisation, always maintaining the required information security level. Two demonstration tracks are also implemented – one about physical access control techniques and another about logical access, clouds, system configuration and the combination of physical and logical access control.
THE ROLE OF THE INNOVALIA ASSOCIATION
Innovalia is the leader of promotional activities. It also undertakes profound research about access control models and mechanisms and researchers in the access control mechanism and company requirements in cloud-based services. Innovalia also analyses the current characteristics of mobile devices that may be useful for identifying and classifying the access control environment.
